HWE organized jointly with Black & Veatch the Environmental Scoping Session of Azzoun Wastewater System Project held on 14 April 2011 at Azzoun Municipality in the presence of the USAID, PWA, Qalqilia Governor, representatives of various ministries and institutions, environmental consultants and the targeted local community. The objective of this scoping session is to discuss the construction of the proposed sewerage network and wastewater treatment plant and its potential environmental impacts (positive or negative) and to open the floor for all the comments/concerns addressed by all stakeholders regarding this project.
HWE works closely with Newcastle University (UK) and many other international institutions and funding agencies such as UNESCO, ESCWA, CEDARE, UNU, USAID, DFID, AFD, GTZ, GWP, EUWI, JICA, ACSAD, BGR, EU, etc.
HWE offers a wide variety of services in water, sanitation and environmental engineering and science from the needs identification stage to the elaboration of tender documents, supervision of works and technical assistance.
